Hender Scheme Morgan leather mule in cow leather, this piece is shaped from tumbled cow leather that yields softly underfoot while maintaining structural integrity through the sole. The upper is left open at the heel in the classic mule silhouette, allowing the foot to breathe, while the toe remains closed and detailed with a subtle penny keeper strap that runs the width of the vamp. A suede footbed lines the interior, creating a cushioned landing and adding textural warmth against the skin.
The sole is Vibram, a material that grounds the shoe and distributes weight evenly as it develops its own patina with wear. Finished with a low stacked heel that sits barely lifted from the ground. As a Japanese-made piece, the construction reflects precision engineering and attention to detail. The leather will darken and develop character over time, responding to the environment and the wearer's habits.
