The Colom Sport takes HEREU's moccasin vocabulary and relocates it on a heavy blown rubber lug sole. The result is a lace-up loafer that occupies the space between a dressy oxford and a workhorse shoe: the braided moccasin welt and handwoven interlace pattern on the vamp carry the craft credentials, while the chunky outsole shifts the weight of the shoe firmly toward daily utility. The upper is cut from vegetable-tanned calf leather, a process that produces a natural grain and a surface that deepens in character with wear. The interwoven basketweave detail covering the entire toe cap is executed by hand, a construction specific to HEREU that demands artisan time that factory production cannot replicate. Two slim leather laces tie at the front; the opening is generous enough to make entry easy despite the fitted silhouette. The blown rubber sole is lightweight for its visual weight, tracking closer to a crepe or trail shoe underfoot than the stiff leather soles typically associated with loafer construction. Heel height sits at 3 cm. Lining is full calf leather throughout. Made in Spain. Fits true to size in European sizing.
