Description
The Strick takes the flight caps of the 1940s and 1950s and the ear-muff caps of the 1980s as its starting point, combining the two into an ear-flap cap that balances protection and character. It is cut from a shrunken technical fabric in 100% nylon. The ear flaps carry original kasuri-yarn molle boa knit panels, developed exclusively for the collection. The kasuri yarn gives the boa its flecked, irregular surface. The cap is lined in silk fleece, and the ear flap lining is a blend of 85% wool and 15% polyester. The crown is built from stitched panels, with a stitched brim and a tonal NN embroidery on the side. The underside of the brim is dark, set against the beige shell. Each ear flap carries a strap and loop on the outside, and the flaps frame the face and ears when worn down. Shown in Beige. Made in Japan.
