Description
Portal's Sphere Gore-Tex Jacket is a lightweight waterproof shell, here in dark olive. The brand presents it as a packable jacket, made for moving through wet weather. The jacket is cut from 100% nylon in a three-layer GORE-TEX fabric. Portal specifies a 15-denier, 58 GSM fabric with a PA6 nylon face and a recycled C-Knit backer.According to Portal, this is the lightest of the GORE-TEX three-layer fabrics, chosen for packability, breathability and durability. The brand also states that it is PFAS-free and approved by Oeko-Tex and bluesign®, and gives a weight of 173 grams in size medium. The minimal hood is fitted, with elasticated edges, and Portal makes the cuffs half-elastic for better coverage of the hands. The hem is double-adjustable, and a full two-way VISLON® zip closes the jacket. A single pocket with a concealed zip doubles as a stuff sack, and the branding is reflective.Portal cuts the jacket on an ergonomic pattern intended for all-purpose movement.
