Description
Refomed's Fresh Man Denim Wide Pants by Edwin, shown here in Black Stripe, is a wide-leg denim trouser from a collaboration between the two labels. Refomed builds the design around a figure who carries activeness and a sense of longing, a reading of masculinity tempered by softness. The trousers are cut from 100% cotton denim, a cotton cloth woven in a twill structure that creates a diagonal rib across its surface.Refomed keeps as much of Edwin's own denim detailing as it can on this trouser. These details are folded into Refomed's own silhouette rather than reproduced unchanged, so the pattern reads as a Refomed design built from Edwin's reference points. The wide leg gives the trouser a fuller leg line than a tapered cut, running loose from hip to hem rather than narrowing towards the ankle. This openness stays the visible signature of the silhouette regardless of colourway.Worn here in Black Stripe, the trouser sits within Refomed's wider Fresh Man Denim range made with Edwin, which is also offered in other colourways built from the same construction.
