The Wool Cashmere Raglan Sleeve Balmacaan Coat is built on the oldest argument for the raglan, which is that a coat worn over other things needs room at the shoulder more than it needs a seam there. The sleeve runs from the neck in one piece, so the shoulder takes whatever is underneath without pulling. Cashmere runs through the wool at a tenth, enough to take the dryness out of the hand without costing the cloth the body a full-length coat needs.
