Description
Taiga Takahashi's Cashmere Bateau Neck Pullover is a knitted sweater built around a bateau neckline. The cut sits in a straight, horizontal line across the collarbone and continues towards the shoulder seams, rather than following the curve of the neck the way a crew neck does. The piece is offered in raw white. The pullover is knitted from 100% cashmere, a fibre taken from the fine undercoat that cashmere goats grow to withstand cold winters. Unlike sheep's wool, it is gathered by combing rather than shearing.
