Pien Studios

Pien Studios is an Amsterdam-based design studio founded in 2020 by Pien Barendregt. It began with a deep love for making, driven by a desire to experiment with rich, tactile materials and diverse techniques. What started as a small collection of hand-knitted accessories has evolved into a collaborative practice with skilled artisans and knitters across the Netherlands and Europe. Together, they explore form and texture through a process that is both intuitive and considered. With a background in textile design, Pien approaches each piece with care and curiosity, allowing ideas to emerge through the act of making. The result is a series of objects that move beyond function, elegant, playful, and made to be lived with. Working from small ateliers, Pien Studios creates work with depth, intention, and an endearing character.
