Rooted in the architecture of the 1937 501XX, the No.37 takes liberties where it counts. The rise is deepened slightly to ease tension across the back and refine the silhouette, a quiet adjustment with a significant effect. Back pockets are placed further apart, borrowing from the rare BIGINCH variant: a detail that reads as asymmetry, but wears as balance. The fabric is 13oz red selvedge indigo denim, woven to mirror the yarn character of late 1950s to early 1960s 501XX production. The result is a pronounced vertical fade and a surface texture that doesn't arrive finished. It becomes itself over time. Iron tack buttons are left to age on their own terms. They may darken. They may rust. That's the point. Each pair has been treated by hand, layered with processes designed to recreate the earned depth of well-aged vintage denim. Because of this, no two pieces are identical in texture, colour, or wear pattern.
