Description
Gabriela Coll's NO.198 cuts from lightweight silk pongee in a silhouette stripped of formality, wide-legged, elastic-waisted, furnished with an interior drawstring for adjustable ease. The fabric's natural slubbed texture and subtle hand-finish create a matte surface that reads both studied and effortless. Unlined and unstructured, the trouser drapes softly while retaining the slight crisp edge characteristic of pongee's plain weave. The off-green tone sits between sage and sand, allowing it to anchor or enliven depending on layering. L2 denotes extended inseam for taller proportions. Each piece is individually treated, rendering variations in surface finish and colour intensity; this is the nature of the work. A trouser that moves between seasons and circumstances without pretense. Ease redefined.
