Description
The Soft Fluffy Scarf is one of Lemaire's recurring textile accessories, reissued across seasons in different fibres and colourways. In this version, the dense, cloud-like surface comes from an 80% alpaca blend whose long fibres splay outward from the base cloth to form a pronounced halo. Seal Brown is a deep, near-black warm brown, rich enough to read as a near-neutral from a distance while carrying visible depth and warmth at close range. The blend is 80% alpaca and 20% polyamide. Alpaca in this proportion generates the characteristic fluffy surface: long, curling staples that sit above the base weave and catch light softly. The 20% polyamide component stabilises the structure, adding durability and preventing the cloth from losing its body with repeated handling. The result is a scarf with substantial warmth and a notably light hand. The long edges are left raw and unfinished, an intentional detail that gives the scarf its unhemmed, organic character. A small rectangular calf leather patch at one corner carries the Lemaire name in debossed lettering. Generous proportions allow the scarf to be worn draped, loosely wrapped, or pulled fully up around the neck. Made in Italy.
