Description
The Traka Softshell Pant by Portal, here in Sea Turtle, is a trouser the brand describes as multi-purpose. Portal designs it for running, cycling and hiking, and to carry over from activity into all-day wear.It is cut from a double-weave stretch fabric of 89% recycled nylon and 11% elastane. A double weave is two layers of cloth woven at once and bound together. According to Portal, the fabric is light and breathable, offers light weather protection and is built for performance and durability in varied conditions. At the waist, a concealed internal adjustment sits alongside external belt loops. The front pockets open from the top, which Portal says keeps their contents secure yet within reach on the move, and, according to Portal, the rear pockets are placed to be easy to reach on the bike. A concealed zip cargo pocket is set on the leg.An ergonomic pattern and a gusset at the crotch, an extra panel set into the seam, are there to allow unrestricted movement, according to the brand. Snaps at the calf and ankle take up surplus fabric when moving. The leg is straight, with some volume. A size M weighs 360 grams, according to Portal.
