Description
The RIER Biker Boot is a pull-on shaft boot with no closures, no hardware, and nothing beyond what the silhouette requires. The shaft rises in a clean cylinder of black pullup cowhide, open at the top with two grey grosgrain pull tabs as the only visible detail. The contrast of pale tabs against deep black leather is the one deliberate mark on an otherwise entirely unornamented form. The silhouette reads workwear translated through a precise, restrained lens. The upper is cut from pullup cowhide sourced in Poland. Pullup leather is treated with oils and waxes that lighten under tension or impact, then return to depth as the leather relaxes. The result is a surface that records its own use: pressure points, folds, and wear patterns accumulate into a patina that builds character over time rather than suggesting damage. The leather carries no corrective coating, which means it responds to light and touch in a way that treated surfaces do not. The sole is natural rubber from Slovakia, mounted on a lug profile that delivers grip and visual grounding without excess bulk underfoot. All manufacturing is carried out in Austria, where RIER is based. This is a boot built to age well, improve with use, and hold its structure across seasons.
