Description
The Hunting Jacket is constructed in a moleskin woven in Hamamatsu using domestically spun Finx cotton. After weaving, the fabric is brushed to develop its surface texture and add depth to the hand. Sewing is carried out in Higashimurayama, Tokyo. The design draws from a 1960s hunting jacket. The development focused specifically on the reversible construction techniques common to that period, using their structural logic as a reference for how the garment is built. The result applies that tailoring approach to a contemporary cut without reproducing the original directly.
