Paris Image Unlimited is a curatorial project founded by Tea Sirbiladze and David Miró, two artistic directors and collectors united by a deep reverence for the rare art book. Having met in Paris, they built a shared practice rooted in research, obsession and a belief that the act of collecting is, above all, an act of love. For MIG, Paris Image Unlimited has hand-sourced thirty-three archival and vintage editions traversing art, photography, fashion, architecture, design and performance. Each title was chosen not simply for its content, but for what it is as an object: the weight of its paper, the texture of its binding, and the quiet marks left by time and use. The selection spans decades and disciplines. Juergen Teller's raw early photography sits alongside Wolfgang Tillmans' Lighter and Robert Mapplethorpe's intimate portraiture. Architecture surfaces through rare Alvar Aalto and Álvaro Siza monographs; fashion through Peter Lindbergh's work with Giorgio Armani and Dries Van Noten's Autumn/Winter 21-22 catalogue. Rarer finds like Jim Jarmusch's Coffee & Cigarettes (Tokyo, 2005) and Björk by Björk (2001) make this capsule feel like a true collector's discovery. Sourced from bookstores, markets and archives across Europe, these editions form a library at the intersection of visual culture, craft and identity. This collaboration reflects a shared conviction between MIG and Paris Image Unlimited: that the printed image remains one of the most enduring forms of human expression.
