The Zipped Boots draw from the vocabulary of formal footwear, translating the silhouette of the dress shoe into a clean ankle boot. Lemaire's approach follows the same reductive logic as the rest of the wardrobe: the boot is stripped to its essential elements, with the zipper replacing the traditional lace as the only visible functional detail. The result reads as sharp without being stiff, at ease across both tailored and relaxed dressing. The upper is crafted in LWG Silver-certified soft calfskin leather with a smooth, glossy finish. Calfskin at this grade is supple and responsive, conforming to the foot with wear while maintaining the consistent surface sheen that gives the boot its formal character. LWG Silver certification indicates the hide was sourced from a tannery meeting established environmental and traceability standards. The toe is elongated and square, a proportion that extends the line of the foot and works cleanly against trouser hems of any width. Closure is by zipper on the inner shaft. Leather insoles and outsoles throughout. Made in Portugal.
