Based on U.S. Army trousers, the Chino Trousers return this season in a revised medium-straight silhouette. Where the previous iteration leaned wide, this version opts for a cleaner, less forced line that sits naturally across a broader range of styling, from a basic tee to a tailored jacket. The waist construction has also been updated for a more comfortable, less restrictive fit without losing the trouser's grounded proportions. The fabric is MARKAWARE's signature organic cotton high-twist gabardine. Strongly twisted yarns are woven at high density, producing a surface that is durable and structured while retaining a refined, non-workwear expression. Because the high-twist yarn does not absorb dye evenly to its core, a stone bio wash applied after dyeing creates a naturally faded, vintage-like colour that reads aged from the first wear. The effect is subtle on the beige, giving the cloth a slightly lived-in quality without any artificial heaviness. The finishing process intentionally introduces scuffs and surface wear as part of the character of the piece. These are not defects but the starting point of a longer arc: the gabardine is designed to continue changing in colour and texture with wear, eventually shaping itself to the wearer over time.
