Description
The Rowan takes the silhouette of the 1970s British trench coat as its starting point and reworks it as a padded long coat. It is cut from an original nylon oxford, finished with a specialized shrink treatment that gives the cloth its shrunken character. The construction is formed from a continuous fabric structure that spans both the exterior and the interior. Each side carries its own distinct set of details, so the coat can also be worn reversibly. The insulation is an ultra-fine fiber fill with low thermal conductivity, and the detachable collar is cut from a silk fleece. The result keeps the character of a traditional trench coat while adding modern functionality, so it adapts to a wide range of seasons and settings. Both the shell and the lining are 100% nylon, the filling is 100% polyester and the collar is 100% silk. Shown in Beige. Made in Japan.
