Description
A reversible-style bomber jacket based on the classic B-15C silhouette. The design features V-shaped single-welt pockets on the inside and is constructed to function as a reversible piece, despite the non-reversible zipper. The jacket is made from ultra-high-density silk-cotton double cloth, with cotton ribbing and an Asahi zipper finished with a Spanish baby-calf leather pull tab. A thick oxygen tab made from custom nylon herringbone tape sits on the left chest. Details include contrast stitching at the neckline and hem, repaired chest tape detailing and a fabric repair panel on the left sleeve. The shoulder angle has been increased to improve arm mobility while maintaining the characteristic sleeve line of the original B-15C. A generous body width combined with a tightened hem rib creates a rounded, compact silhouette. The slightly shorter length and minimal front-to-back difference make for an easy-to-wear shape. Each garment is individually hand-finished to recreate the colour changes and irregularities associated with decades-old nylon. Due to the garment processing, every piece will naturally vary in texture, colour, size and degree of distress.
